Transferring Files Between your PC and a Host

You can transfer files between your PC and a host using your emulator, or you can launch the FTP Client, which supports both FTP and SFTP transfers. Most emulators include one or more file transfer protocols. Each file transfer protocol is designed to support certain types of file transfers to certain types of hosts or host applications.

Before you transfer a file using a particular file transfer protocol, you must specify the file transfer protocol to use when you configure the session.

With the FTP Client, you can connect to an FTP server running on any supported host. Once connected, FTP is used to transfer files between your PC and the FTP server.
