3.1.1 Default Session Profiles

Each terminal emulator comes with a default session profile, which is located in the TEMPLATE subfolder:

Table 3-1

This product

Comes with this default session profile

UTS

UTS60.ADP

T27

MT.ADP

ALC

ALC.ADP

These session profiles have the default configuration settings associated with their respective products. For example, UTS60.ADP uses the UTS60 terminal type and no file transfer protocol. MT.ADP uses the T27 terminal type and the CANDE file transfer protocol.

When you create a new session using the New Session Wizard, all the settings associated with the default session profiles are copied to the new session. You can change the configuration settings associated with each default session profile simply by opening a session using the default session profile, making the desired configuration changes, and then saving the session.

It is recommended that you use the default session profiles only as templates for creating new sessions and not as working sessions.
