1.3.3 Files/Directories Tab

Using this tab, you can specify the CASL or EXTRA! Basic macro search path, the locations of schemes, and the name of the CASL or EXTRA! Basic macro to run (if any) when you run Accessory Manager.

Macro Search Path

This field displays the name of the folder where macros are stored. When you click Macros from the Tools menu, the Macros dialog box displays all the macros stored in this folder.

To use a different folder, click Browse and select the desired folder from a list of available folders.

Local Path

This displays the name of a folder where schemes, keyboard maps, QuickPads, and toolbars are stored. By default, all new schemes, keyboard maps, QuickPads, and toolbars are created in this location.

Although you cannot change the local folder, you can specify a different remote folder. The contents of both the local folder and the remote folder appear in the Settings dialog box.

Remote Path

This displays the name of a folder where additional schemes, keyboard maps, QuickPads, and toolbars are stored.

You can modify the location of the remote folder. For example, in a standalone installation, you might want to specify a different remote folder if you want to keep the files that you create separate from the ones that come with your InfoConnect products. Or you might want the remote folder to be a folder on a file server, where an administrator can place files for multiple users to share.

The contents of both the local folder and the remote folder appear in the Settings dialog box. To use a different remote folder, click Browse and select the desired folder from a list of available folders.

Application Startup Macro

This displays the name of the macro to run each time you run Accessory Manager. To use a different macro, click Browse and select the appropriate file type and desired file or folder.

Click Browse to select the desired file or folder from a list of available files or folders. You can choose to open a CASL or EXTRA! Basic macro by selecting the appropriate file type.

Click Clear to remove the startup macro.
