3.7.1 General Tab

Using this tab, you can enable or disable all HotSpots and specify which HotSpots should be visible and how they should appear on the screen.

Enable HotSpots

Select this option to enable all HotSpots.

When HotSpots are enabled, the mouse pointer turns into a hand with the index finger extended when it is over a HotSpot.

If you clear this option, all HotSpots will be disabled.

Click

You have the option to execute HotSpots by a single or double mouse click.

Region HotSpot Style

Click the option that indicates how to display all region HotSpots:

To make all region HotSpots

  • Click Invisible: make hotspots invisible.

    Even when a HotSpot is invisible, the mouse pointer turns into a hand with the index finger extended when it is over a HotSpot if HotSpots are enabled.

  • Outline Rectangle

  • Recessed Panel

Text HotSpot Style

Click the option that indicates how to display all text HotSpots:

To make all text HotSpots

HotSpot Mouse Activation

To specify how to run HotSpots, choose one of the following options:

  • Single-click: execute HotSpots using a single mouse click .

  • Double-click: Execute HotSpots using a double mouse click.

To enable or disable HotSpots

  1. If a session is not already open, open one.

  2. From the Options menu, click Settings.

  3. From the Categories list box, click HotSpots.

  4. On the General tab, do one of the following:

    • Select Enable HotSpots to enable all hotspots.

      -or-

    • Select Disable all HotSpots to disable all hotspots.
