Options

Description

Login

Click this item to log in to Gateway Administrator.

You must log in to Gateway Administrator in order to use this application.

If you are already logged in, this item appears dimmed.

Logout

Click this item to log out of Gateway Administrator.

When you log out of Gateway Administrator, the application continues to run, but the path configuration data does not appear in the application window, and you cannot add, delete, or modify any of the paths in the path tree.

If you are already logged out as an administrator, this item appears dimmed.

Change Password

Click this item to change the login password.

You can change this password only if you are already logged in to Gateway Administrator. If you are not logged in, this item appears dimmed.

Exit

Click this item to exit Gateway Administrator.

Description

Old Password

Type the old password that was required to log in.

Asterisks (*) appear instead of letters as you type.

New Password

Type the password to use for logging in.

Asterisks (*) appear instead of letters as you type.

Confirm New Password

Type the password that you typed previously.

Asterisks (*) appear instead of letters as you type.

To change the password

  1. If you have not already done so, log in.

  2. From the Gateway menu, click Change Password.

  3. In the Old Password text box, type the current password for logging in.

    When you type, asterisks (*) appear instead of the actual characters.

  4. In the New Password text box, type the password that you want to use to log in.

  5. In the Confirm New Password text box, type the same password that you typed in the Password text box.

    This ensures that you typed the desired password correctly in the New Password text box.

    When you click OK, the new password takes effect. The next time you log in, you must type this password.
