9.1.15 Changing the Country Setting from within GraphX

The Country Translation function allows you to change the country setting while you are working in GraphX.

To change the country setting

  1. Select Country Translation from the Preferences menu.

  2. In the Country Settings dialog box, select a country from the list of countries or languages that might require a translation, or select an item from the list and click edit to edit the translation file for GraphX.

    The changes to the country setting will affect the current picture only. However, when the picture is saved, the country setting is saved in the picture's configuration information. Thus, the next time the picture is loaded, the country setting will be restored.

    To change the default country settings, change the country setting in the Windows Control Panel.

Translation Information File

GraphX refers to the file, ICCCOUNT.INI, for translation information. This text file, which is shipped with GraphX and is located in the GraphX directory, can be edited with Notepad or any other text editor.

Changing the Default Country Setting

The default country setting for GraphX is determined by the country setting in the Windows Control Panel (or at the time of installing Windows). You can change the country setting dynamically while running GraphX, but the next time GraphX is loaded, the country setting will default to the Windows setting.

To change the default country setting:

  1. In the Control Panel window, select the International icon.

  2. Open the Country list, and then select the country whose date, time, currency, and number formats you want to use.

  3. Select OK to save the changes, or select Cancel to exit the dialog box without making changes.
