6.6.2 Page Setup (PTRSpooler)

Header

The information that you want to appear in the header of the printed document.

Default value: &P Document Name: &F

If you do not want a header, delete the default content.

This text box can contain up to 132 characters. You can also use the following predefined variables:

Page number

 

&F

The document name (as specified in the Document Name text box on the PTR Print Spooler dialog box).

 

&D

Current date

 

&T

Current time

Footer

The information that you want to appear in the footer of the printed document.

Default value: &D &T

If you do not want a footer, delete the default content.

This text box can contain up to 80 characters. You can enter any combination of text and the predefined variables described above.

Units

The unit of measure to use. These units apply to the margin and tab settings.

Margins

Margin settings for the Left, Right, Top, and Bottom margins.

Wrap Around Line: Select this check box so that when a line extends past the margins, the line will wrap to the next line. When the check box is cleared, the line excess is not printed.

Tabs

The number of units per horizontal tab. The tab stops start at the left margin.

Configuring the Page Setup

When you select the Page Setup from the PTR Print Spooler dialog box, the Page Setup dialog box appears. This dialog box enables you to specify the information that appears in the header and footer of each printed page, and to set the margins. If you do not want to use a header or footer, delete the default values.

To configure the font setup

  1. From the PTR Print Spooler dialog box, click Font.

    The Font dialog box appears.

  2. From the Font dialog box, select the desired font, font style, and font size.

  3. Click OK.

To configure the print setup

  1. Click Print Setup from the PTR Print Spooler dialog box.

    The Print Setup dialog box appears.

  2. From the Print Setup dialog box, select the printer, print orientation, and paper size for your print job.

  3. Click Options to specify additional printing options. (For more information regarding these printing options, refer to your Windows documentation.)

  4. Click OK.
