1.10.8 Global Productivity Settings

You use the Global Productivity Settings pages to enable or disable productivity features. When the Disable All Features checkbox is selected, all of the productivity features are turned off for all sessions. This includes the Productivity pane and buttons on the left side of your host session display screen. Under Options, Settings, the Productivity icon will also not be available in the Categories list.

NOTE:You can also enable or disable productivity features through the Security options. From the Options menu, choose Security, then the Options tab. Under Category, select Productivity Bar, and select or clear the individual check boxes.

Use the following tabbed page to enable or disable your productivity features:

General: Enable or disable each of the settings for the productivity features. When each feature listed under Enable Productivity Pane is enabled, it is shown as a button in the Productivity pane on the left side of your host session display screen. When the check boxes for Spell Checking, Auto Complete, and Auto Expand are selected, those features are activated and ready to use in the host application.

NOTE:You can display or hide the Productivity pane on the left side of your host session display screen by clicking the Toggle Productivity Bar icon on the session toolbar.

To specify global settings for productivity features

  1. From the Options menu, choose Global Productivity Settings.

  2. From the General page, under Productivity Features, select Disable All Productivity Features to turn off all productivity features for all sessions.

  3. Select Enable Productivity Pane to activate specific check boxes to display each button in the Productivity pane on your host session display screen.

  4. Click OK when you have finished defining your productivity settings.

Global Productivity Settings
