6.3.3 PTR Comm Configuration Dialog Box

When you select PTR_COM in the Path Template drop-down list box and click Configure, the Comm Configuration dialog box appears.

Complete this dialog box to configure your PTR setup with the serial port.

Options

Description

Communication Port

Select the COM port to use when communicating with the printer.

Baud Rate

Select the communication line speed.

Character Size

Select the character size to use when communicating with the printer.

Parity

Select the entry that corresponds the setting of your printer.

Stop Bits

Stop bits indicate the end of a character. Select the number of stop bits to use when communicating with the printer.

Flow Control

Select the method your printer is set to use to indicate that its buffer is full.
