Remote Command Menu and Toolbar Commands

Remote Command menus and toolbar Commands:

  • New command (File menu and toolbar): Opens a new, untitled Remote Command script file.

  • Open command (File menu and toolbar): Opens and existing Remote Command script file.

  • Save command (File menu and toolbar): Saves the current Remote Command script file.

  • Save As command (File menu): Lets you save the current Remote Command script file using a different name.

  • Send Command, command (File menu): Sends the command which is at the current cursor position in the Command Lines box, to the selected host.

  • Send All Commands, command (File menu): Sends all commands in the Command Line list to the selected host.

  • Recent File command (File menu): Lets you open the most recently used Remote Command script files.

  • Exit command (File menu): Closes the Remote Command application. You will be prompted to save any un-saved changes.

  • Undo (Edit menu): Reverses the last entry you made in the Command Line box.

  • Cut (Edit menu): Copies and removes the text currently selected in the Command Lines box.

  • Copy (Edit menu): Copies the text currently selected in the Command Lines box.

  • Paste (Edit menu): Pastes the contents of the Windows clipboard at the current cursor location in the Command Lines box.

  • Select All (Edit menu): Selects all of the text in the Command Lines box.

  • Clear Output (Edit menu): Clears the Host response messages from the Command Output Messages box.

  • Toolbar (View menu): Shows or hides the toolbar.

  • Status Bar (View menu): Shows or hides the Status bar at the bottom on the application window.

  • Help Topics (Help menu): Opens the Remote Command Help topics.

  • Using Help (Help menu): Opens Microsoft's Using Help, Help topics.

  • Office Compatible (Help menu): Shows the Office Compatible Help topics that describe Remote Command's Microsoft Office Compatibility features.

  • About Remote Command(Help menu): Shows version and copyright information for Remote Command.

  • Toolbar: Contains command buttons for the most frequently used commands
