Text Display Options |
Lists the types of models from which you can select and also list the support options. |

Model |
Specifies the type of mainframe terminal model emulated for 3270 display sessions. You can choose from: Any model, 2 - 24 x80, 3 - 32 x 80, 4 - 43 x 80, or 5 - 27 x 132. |

Support Extended Attributes |
Enables support of Extended Attribute Bytes (EABs). EABs are codes used by many mainframe applications to display highlighting, reverse image, blinking, and seven colors. If selected, the EABs option allows the PC to emulate the full capability of the mainframe screen. |

Support Program Symbols |
Enables loadable symbols support. Loadable symbols, also called graphic symbol sets, are sets of symbols that are treated as small, individual bitmaps. Loadable symbols can appear in the graphics layer or the text layer. In the text layer, they are referred to as Program Symbols and are used as custom text. These are turned on by default for the 3279S3G graphics model. |

Graphics Display Options |
Includes types of graphics models to select from as well as selections for graphic size and graphics cursor appearance. |

Model |
Choose from the graphics terminal models for your session. Note that the Support extended attributes option must be on for you to choose one of these terminal models. |

Expand Graphic Size |
Tells the host that the screen size being requested needs to be bigger than the current monitor resolution. |
|
Graphics Cursor Appearance |
Choose the type of graphics cursor you want to use with your graphics session. This option is available only for the 3179G, 3472G, and 3270PCG graphics terminal models only. |

Crosshair Cursor |
Displays the crosshair graphics cursor for your graphics session when selected. |
|
Box Cursor |
Displays the box graphics cursor for your graphics session when selected. |

Cursor Options |
Displays cursor and rule line appearance choices. |
|
Cursor Appearance |
Specifies whether the cursor should be full block, half block or underlined. |

Show Cursor Blinking |
If selected, this option indicates that you want a blinking cursor. If not selected, the cursor will be solid. |

Rule Line Appearance |
Specifies the appearance of the rule line, which displays to provide a visual cue of your location on the screen. You can select a vertical line, a horizontal line or cross (vertical and horizontal) lines. |

Move Rule Line With Cursor |
If selected, indicates that the rule line should follow the cursor. If not selected, the rule line will not move with the cursor but can be positioned by selecting the Rule Lines option from the View menu once in the session. |

Rule Line Style |
Specifies whether the rule line should be a solid or dotted line. |
