4.5.6 Text Assist

Text Assist for 5250 offers a convenient way to access IBM's OfficeVision for OS/400 Text Assist application from a 5250 display session. In addition, several enhancements are provided to make the use of this application easier and more productive. For example, you can make text bold and underlined with a single keystroke; not several as required from a terminal. You also get the built-in advantages of working with the Text Assist application from a 5250 display session, such as exchanging data between the host and PC applications and working with multiple applications at the same time.

This product emulates the ReGIS and Tektronix graphics features of the DEC VT340 terminal.
