There is currently one method available for interactive text transfer into Text Assist. Unformatted streaming text with or without carriage return/linefeed delimiters can be pasted up to the size limitation of the Windows paste buffer and or unique Host limitations for Text Assist.
When pasting text into Text Assist documents with margins set to allow the document to be larger than 80 columns, we recommend that you change your Text Assist session to 132 column-mode using the Text Assist F13 command (Edit Options). This allows the Host to accept modified lines larger than 80 columns, avoiding unnecessary truncation of pasted text.
