Commands Tab

Using this tab, you can specify various commands required for communicating with the OS 2200 Editor during a file transfer.

When you transfer files, the OS 2200 file transfer protocol either sends the specified commands to the OS 2200 Editor or interprets the commands received from the editor.

Command

Type the command to run the OS 2200 Editor and create a new file.

Command Reply

Type the response that the OS 2200 Editor sends to the PC to indicate that a file has been created.

Complete

Type the command that the PC sends to the OS 2200 Editor when the file transfer from the PC is complete.

Complete Reply

Type the response that the OS 2200 Editor sends to the PC when it receives notification that the file upload is complete.

To specify the upload command for OS 2200 file transfers

  1. If a UTS session is not already open, open one.

  2. Make sure OS2200 Editor is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

  3. From the Options menu, click Settings.

  4. From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.

  5. Click the Commands tab.

  6. In the Command text box in the Upload group box, type command to run the OS 2200 Editor and create a new file.

To specify the upload command reply for OS 2200 file transfers

  1. If a UTS session is not already open, open one.

  2. Make sure OS2200 Editor is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

  3. From the Options menu, click Settings.

  4. From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.

  5. Click the Commands tab.

  6. In the Command Reply text box in the Upload group box, type the response that the OS 2200 Editor sends to the PC to indicate that a file has been created.

To specify the upload complete command for OS 2200 file transfers

  1. If a UTS session is not already open, open one.

  2. Make sure OS2200 Editor is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

  3. From the Options menu, click Settings.

  4. From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.

  5. Click the Commands tab.

  6. In the Complete text box in the Upload group box, type the command that the PC sends to the OS 2200 Editor when the file transfer from the PC is complete.

To specify the upload complete reply for OS 2200 file transfers

  1. If a UTS session is not already open, open one.

  2. Make sure OS2200 Editor is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

  3. From the Options menu, click Settings.

  4. From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.

  5. Click the Commands tab.

  6. In the Complete Reply text box in the Upload group box, type the response that the OS 2200 Editor sends to the PC when it receives notification that the file upload is complete.

To specify the download command for OS 2200 file transfers

  1. If a UTS session is not already open, open one.

  2. Make sure OS2200 Editor is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

  3. From the Options menu, click Settings.

  4. From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.

  5. Click the Commands tab.

  6. In the Command text box in the Download group box, type the command to run the OS 2200 Editor and download a file from the OS 2200 Editor to the PC.

To specify the download reply for OS 2200 file transfers

  1. If a UTS session is not already open, open one.

  2. Make sure OS2200 Editor is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

  3. From the Options menu, click Settings.

  4. From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.

  5. Click the Commands tab.

  6. In the Command Reply text box in the Download group box, type the response that the OS 2200 Editor sends to the PC when it receives a request to download a file to the PC.

To specify the download complete command for OS 2200 file transfers

  1. If a UTS session is not already open, open one.

  2. Make sure OS2200 Editor is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

  3. From the Options menu, click Settings.

  4. From the Categories list box, click File Transfer.

  5. Click the Commands tab.

  6. In the Complete text box in the Download group box, type the command that the OS 2200 Editor sends to the PC when the download is complete.

To specify the download complete reply for OS 2200 file transfers

  1. If a UTS session is not already open, open one.

  2. Make sure OS2200 Editor is selected as the File Transfer Protocol.

  3. From the Options menu, click Settings.
