9.4.4 File Transfer tab

Allow transfers

Select this check box to enable the file transfer capability. Clear this check box to disable the file transfer capability. This can be helpful to system administrators who don't want users to perform file transfers.

No message wait

Select this check box to indicate that the Extended Control Page file transfer is not a TIP/30 file transfer. PEP will not send a message wait to the host after the transfer. Clear this check box to indicate that the files transfer is a TIP/30 file transfer. PEP will send a message wait to the host after the transfer.

Ignore last space

Select this check box to remove the trailing spaces at the end of the screen when downloading a text file.

Receive LF to CR/LF

Select this check box to convert line feeds to carriage return/line feeds during a download if the host application is sending line feeds as column separators.

Terminate binary receive on EOF only

Select this check box to terminate a binary download when it encounters an EOF and to ignore partial screens of data.

Allow NAK5 response

Select this check box to send a NAK5 to the host in an Extended Control Page file transfer if the file cannot be opened. Clear this check box to generate an error message on the terminal if the file cannot be opened. The host program is not notified.

Disable EOF string on receive

Select this check box to send a end of file string to the Host if the A option is set in the RCV options field in the Extended Control Page.

Skip EOF character on upload

When uploading a text file using TLIB file transfers, select this check box to ignore the EOF character in the file. Clear this option to upload the EOF.
