Do not print character under cursor

Some host applications do not send a SCAN LEFT escape sequence after a FORMFEED when sending print buffers to PEP. This means there will be a space at the cursor position. This space is added to the print buffer and causes a blank page to be printed.

The extra blank page problem should be corrected by modifying the host application. If this is not possible, the problem may be fixed by enabling this option. Select this check box to eliminate the extra blank pages caused by host.

NOTE: Enabling this option may cause problems with host applications that send the SCAN LEFT after a FORMFEED.

Force LF at end of message in PRNT mode

Select this check box so that PEP sends a carriage return/line feed to the printer at the end of a print buffer. The carriage return/line feed is not sent if the buffer ends in a line feed or a form feed.

Map LF to CR/LF in passthrough printing

Select this check box so that all line feed characters are mapped to carriage return/line feed characters in passthrough mode only.

Map FF to CR/FF in passthrough printing

Select this check box so that all form feed characters are mapped to carriage return/form feed characters in passthrough mode only.

Print data in video off fields

Select this check box to print all FCCs on the screen with the Video Off attribute enabled. Clear this check box to not print all FCCs on the screen with the Video Off attribute enabled. The data in the field is replaced with spaces on the printout.

Start printing data in same column as on screen

In XPAR mode, select this check box to start printing at the first character after the SOE. Clear this check box to convert the characters before and including the SOE character to spaces when printed. This is helpful if your data after the SOE does not start in column 1.

Debug printing

Select this check box to enable PEP to accept print commands and send data to the printer without requiring the device selection (print DID).
