This User Guide describes the client/server binding communications middleware provided with Net Express for creating and running client/server applications.
The client/server binding is an example of a good, yet simple way to connect a client to a server. See the chapter Client/Server Binding for full details.
Both the client/server binding and Fileshare use the Micro Focus Common Communications Interface (CCI) to provide the communications interface. CCI can run over several different communications protocols: TCP/IP, NetBEUI, Novell IPX, APPC and Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) are supported by Net Express.
