NetStorage provides secure Internet-based access to files and folders on an Open Enterprise Server (OES) server on your network by using either a browser or Microsoft Web Folders (Microsoft’s implementation of WebDAV). If the OES server running NetStorage goes down, Internet-based access to files and folders is not possible. Configuring NetStorage with OES Cluster Services helps ensure that Internet-based access to files and folders can continue even if a server running NetStorage goes down.
