sputil no longer supports --ext option. The existing --ext configurations are automatically converted to patterns. OpenText now recommends using --pattern instead.
sputil now supports purging files with combined --pattern and --pattern-age filters for greater precision. Multiple pattern-age pairs can be specified. Example, purging abc*.txt files deleted over 10 days ago alongside xyz*.pdf,pqr*.doc files deleted over 20 days ago. You can also clear specific patterns or all patterns using --clear with --pattern or --all-patterns.
For more information, see sputil in Storage Services File System (NSS) Administration Guide.
iPrint Client for Windows upgraded to version 6.27.30.
iPrint Client for Mac upgraded to version 6.23.
The following issues have been identified in this release:
Upgrading from OES 2018SP3 to OES 25.3 fails with a conflict message
During an upgrade from OES 2018 SP3 to OES 25.3, selecting the UMC pattern may trigger a conflict during the OES Database (DB) configuration. This occurs because the installer attempts to use a lower version of PostgreSQL than what's already present.
Workaround:
During the conflict, select the option to downgrade PostgreSQL-17 to PostgreSQL-16 to continue.
After the upgrade, if the PostgreSQL service is not running, this may indicate multiple PostgreSQL versions are installed.
To resolve this:
Run the following command to select the required PostgreSQL version from the list:
update-alternatives --config postgresql
Sample Output:
There are 2 choices for the alternative postgresql (providing /usr/lib/postgresql).
Selection Path Priority Status
------------------------------------------------------------
* 0 /usr/lib/postgresql14 140 auto mode
1 /usr/lib/postgresql13 130 manual mode
2 /usr/lib/postgresql14 140 manual mode
Press <enter> to keep the current choice[*], or type selection number: 1update-alternatives: Using /usr/lib/postgresql13 to provide /usr/lib/postgresql (postgresql) in manual mode
After switching versions, restart the PostgreSQL service:
systemctl restart postgresql.service
