Browse and select containers that contain the workstations.
Select workstations, click the More actions button
, and then click Manage groups. A list of LUM-enabled groups from the selected containers are displayed.
Click Actions > Add Group.
Browse and select containers to list groups. Alternatively, you can create a new group and add it to workstations.
Select groups that you want to add to the workstations and click Next.
In Settings, choose one of the following options and click Next:
Enable LUM for all users in the selected group: All users in the group are LUM-enabled. This option is disabled if multiple groups are selected.
Enable LUM for specific users in the selected groups: Only the selected users are LUM-enabled.
Enable LUM for selected groups (not for users): Only the groups are LUM-enabled. Users not enabled for LUM will not have access to the workstation services. However, if some users in the group are already LUM-enabled, they will still have access to the services.
If the Enable LUM for specific users in the selected groups option is selected, a list of users are displayed. Both the selected users and any existing LUM-enabled users will have access to the workstation services.
Select the Linux configuration object for the workstation and click Next.
Review the summary and click Finish.
The POSIX attributes are assigned to the group, and the group is added to the workstation. If any users are also LUM-enabled, they will have access to the workstation services.
