8.1 Viewing Workload Status Counts by Project, Wave, or Batch

The lists for Projects, Waves, and Batches include the following summary health and status counts in the Counts column.

Total Workloads

Total number of workloads in the project that are in one of the following transformation phases:

  • Imported

  • Defining

  • Submitted

  • In Progress

  • Completed

Workloads that are On Hold or have a Warning are counted in one of the transformation categories, and are also tallied separately.

Imported

The number of workloads that have been successfully imported and discovered. Transformation planning has not begun for these workloads. The list excludes attempted imports that are pending discovery or were not found.

On Hold

The number of workloads that are currently in an On Hold state. On Hold is set in the Workload dialog or Bulk Edit dialog.

You can leverage the On Hold link in the Dashboard to find On Hold workloads for a Project, Wave, or Branch, then remove the hold for multiple workloads through Bulk Edit.

Defining

Total number of workloads currently in the Defining state, typically with a status of Needs Additional Info or Ready to be Submitted.

Submitted

Total number of workloads that have been defined and submitted for migration and are waiting for transformation to start.

In Progress

Total number of workloads currently in the Transforming state, typically with a status of Preparing Workload, Replicating Workload, Pre-Cutover Testing, Cutover, and Post-Cutover Testing.

Completed

Total number of workload transformations currently in the Completed state. Cutover and post-cutover testing has occurred.

Warning

Total number of workloads in the project that currently have one or more warning conditions.

The count includes any workload transformation that has one or more of the following conditions:

  • Transformation is in a failed state.

  • Transformation is not in progress, but the transformation start date has passed.

  • Transformation has not been competed, but the transformation cutover date has passed.

  • Transformation start date is before its parent's start date (batch, wave, project).

  • Transformation cutover date is after its parent's cutover date.

You can alternatively use the Health > All Warning States option on the Advanced Search dialog to see all workloads in the Warning state.
