25.2 Associating VMware Clusters with Target Workloads

After you discover target VMware vCenter Server platforms for a project, you can associate its VMware clusters with workloads.

To associate a workload with a VMware vCenter Server platform and cluster:

  1. In the Workload dialog, select the workload that will be transformed to a virtual workload, then click Edit. You can alternatively double-click the workload of interest.

  2. On the Workload dialog in the Location panel, click Edit.

  3. From the Platform list, select the VMware vCenter Server Platform that you want to assign to the target workload.

  4. From the Cluster list, select the cluster to use for the target workload.

  5. (Optional) Modify other Location information as appropriate.

  6. Click Save, and then click Close.

  7. Click Close to exit the Workload dialog.
