31.3 Excluding or Including a Network Resource

Discovered Viral Network resources are automatically included in the list of resources available for an Azure Platform resource.

You can use the Networks page to exclude a Virtual Network resource for use by migrations to the target platform. The excluded Network resource appears dimmed in the Virtual Networks list. Excluded resources do not appear in other dialogs for planning.

NOTE:Transformation Manager automatically removes its associations, including those assigned to workloads that are in progress and completed.

To exclude a Virtual Network resource for an Azure platform:

  1. In the Web Interface toolbar, select Platforms, select the platform, then click Edit.

  2. Under Associations, select the Networks tab, then select Virtual Networks.

  3. Select the appropriate network, click Exclude, then click Yes to confirm the exclusion.
