33.1 About Storage Account Resources

PlateSpin Transformation Manager discovers available Storage Account resources for the target Azure Platform.

Storage Accounts List

For an Azure Platform, the Storage Accounts tab displays the following information for each discovered storage account:

Location

The parent location for the storage account in the Azure Cloud for the target platform. For example: Central US, West US, or North Europe.

Replication

Information about the Azure storage replication service associated with the storage account, such as the following:

  • Locally redundant storage (LRS)

  • Premium locally redundant storage (Premium_LRS)

  • Geo-redundant storage (GRS)

  • Read-access geo-redundant storage (RA_GRS)

  • Zone-redundant storage (ZRS)

Performance

Indicates the performance characteristics of the Azure storage account.

Status

Indicates whether the storage account is available as of the last successful discovery for the target platform.

Encryption

Indicates whether Azure Storage Service encryption for data at rest is enabled for the storage account.

Edit Storage Account Dialog

For an Azure Platform, the Edit Storage Account dialog displays the following information for a specified storage account:

Name

The name of the storage account in the target platform environment.

Platform

The parent target platform for the storage account.

Description

(Optional) Specify a brief description of the Storage Account. This text appears by default in the Storage Accounts list.

Associations: Workloads

A list of the workloads that have been configured to use the storage account.
