Discovered Datastore resources are automatically included in the list of resources available for a Platform resource.
You can use the Datastores page to exclude a Datastore resource for use by migrations to the target platform. The excluded Datastore resource appears dimmed in the Datastores list. Excluded resources do not appear in other dialogs for planning.
NOTE:When you exclude a Datastore resource, PTM automatically removes its associations, including those assigned to workloads that are in progress and completed.
To exclude a Datastore resource for a target platform:
In the Web Interface toolbar, select Platforms.
Select the platform, then click Edit.
Under Associations, select the Datastores tab.
Select the appropriate datastore, click Exclude, then click Yes to confirm the exclusion.
You can use Include to enable an excluded Datastore resource.
NOTE:Including the Datastore resource does not reinstate any prior associations the Datastore had before you excluded it.
To include an excluded Datastore resource for a target platform:
In the Web Interface toolbar, select Platforms.
Select the platform, then click Edit.
Under Associations, select the Datastores tab.
Select the excluded datastore, then click Include.
