AS/400 Tab (Transfer Settings Dialog Box)

The options are:

Transport

TCP/IP is the only supported transfer type.

Host TP

Select an AS/400 data transfer transaction program to use. LIPI supports more complex SQL statements.

National character set

Select a character set to use for character translations during AS/400 data transfers.

PC characters

Select a character set. This option is relevant for data that contains characters with decimal values above 127. (ANSI and ASCII character sets have the same values for characters with decimal values from 32 – 126.)

System name

Type the host name to use for AS/400 data transfers. If you are connected to a host, this value identifies that host and can't be changed. To transfer files to and from a different host, use an unconnected session.

Use Windows credentials

Use your Windows credentials instead of your AS/400 username and password to bypass being prompted when performing a data transfer.

Username

Enter the username you use to log on to the AS/400 to bypass being prompted for it before performing a data transfer.

Password

Enter the password you use to log on to the AS/400 to bypass being prompted for it before performing a data transfer.

Advanced
