Syntax: help [<command>]
HELPdisplays a short summary of FTP commands. You can type HELP <command> at the FTP command line to see information on a specific FTP command. For a listing of FTP commands without descriptions, enter HELP at the command line.
With many FTP servers, you can enter QUOTE HELP at the command line for a list of commands the server recognizes. Entering QUOTE HELP <command> sometimes gives more detailed information about the command. See QUOTE for more information.
NOTE:HELPdisplays the FTP command list even if you have made an SFTP connection. Click here for a list of commands available during SFTP sessions.
