HTTP Configuration Dialog Box

Getting there
  1. In the Security Properties dialog box, from the Proxy section, select Use proxy server.
  2. Under Proxy type, select HTTP and then click Configure.

Use the HTTP Configuration dialog box to designate an HTTP proxy server.

HTTP proxy

Enter information to designate a single HTTP proxy server.
Address Required: Enter the HTTP proxy server address.
Port Required: Enter the port of the proxy server.
User ID Enter the user name for the proxy server.
Basic authentication Select if you want to use authentication that requires a user name and password. (If this is not selected, no authentication is used.)
