Using the Macro Panel

Use the Macro Panel to run VBA macros saved in your session document file or to run other macros, such as referenced macros, EML macros, or macros created with other products, that you have previously run on that session. The Macro Panel is available with Reflection Desktop version 17-0 and greater.

The Macro Panel is a convenient way to keep track of and run macros that apply to a session without adding buttons to the ribbon.

You can use the Macro Panel to run VBA macros  or to run other macros, like referenced macros, EML macros, or macros created with other products.

You can run VBA macros from the macro panel. And after you run a macro, it is added to the Recent tab.

Mark a macro with a star to add it to the Favorites tab. You can also remove favorites.

The Available tab shows only VBA macros but you can use the Recent tab to keep track of other types of macros.

We'll go back to our original screen and run an Express macro. And after you run this macro, it is listed in the Recent tab.

Macro Panel settings are saved with your session. When we close and reopen this session, we see the same macros on the favorite and recent tabs.

And the Macro Panel includes only the macros that apply to the selected session. When we open a new session, we see the macros that apply to that session.
