License Types and Requirements

Note: This topic describes license types for the Micro Focus License Management system and does not refer to the Sentinel RMS license system.

Use of reUZE Server licenses are subject to the terms and conditions in your End-user Software License Agreement.

In general, reUZE Server licenses are required for:

The types of license available are as follows:

Type of License (Old Model 1) License Units that are Counted
Developer test users
Named user standard users
Concurrent use standard uses
Concurrent use transaction uses
CPU server cpus
Type of License (New Model 2)
Authorized user users
Concurrent users users
Server (CPU) cpus

You can get your old model 1 licenses converted to new model 2 licenses. For more information contact your sales representative.

Windows:

If you are already licensed to use reUZE Server for an application that is executed on a particular machine, you may not need a separate reUZE Server license for another application on that same machine. This varies according to the license purchased.

64-bit on AIX:

If you install the 64-bit version of Server on AIX, you receive licenses for the 64-bit version. Any licenses associated with a 32-bit version of Server on AIX remain enabled. You cannot use 32-bit licenses with 64-bit Server on AIX, nor can you use 64-bit licenses with 32-bit Server on AIX.

.NET:

If you want to run .NET applications you must have a valid .NET license installed.
