To authorize your product using a central license server

The task steps below describe how to authorize your workstation product if you want to obtain a license from a central license server.

You need the IP address or server name for the central license server you want to access. You should be able to get this from your License System Administrator.

  1. Start the Licensing System Administration tool if it is not already enabled.
  2. Select Options -> Advanced Configuration
  3. Click Change against the License Server row.
  4. Enter the IP address or server name for the license server.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Click Close.

Note: We recommend that other options on Advanced Configuration are modified only under guidance from Micro Focus Product Support.
