Reflection for Secure IT Server for Windows 8.4 Release Notes

Reflection for Secure IT Server for Windows 8.4 released in February 2021 and is available for new and maintained customers.

1.0 What’s New?

This update includes:

  • Support for user and host authentication using certificates now follows the RFC 6187 standard. (8.4)

  • Added support for elliptic curve cryptography: (8.3 Update 1)

    • Support for elliptic curve key exchange: ecdh-sha2-*

    • Support for elliptic curve host and user keys (8.3 Update 1)

    • Support for elliptic curve host and user certificates

  • rsshap.dll is now signed by Microsoft, which allows the user to use public key authentication when additional security is configured for LSA.(8.3 Update 1)
