Many of these improvements were made in direct response to suggestions from our customers. We thank you for your time and valuable input. We hope you continue to help us ensure that our products meet all your needs.

2.1 Reflection for Secure IT Windows Client

Update 1, 2, and 3

  • Fixed problems that caused crashes when the user’s MyDocument location was mapped to a folder in which the user did not have write access.

  • Added a new setting to the ssh config file which allows an administrator to configure public algorithm key(s) used by the client.

  • Enhanced the usability of logging to include Negotiated Host Key Algorithm and the Key Exchange method name.

  • Administrators can now manage settings in security dialogs for IBM and VT Terminals in Group Policy and accessconfig.

  • Improved support for ActivClient 7.1 when configured for PKCS#11.

  • Improved support of managed SSH sessions for PKIc when managing Reflection sessions in MSS.

2.2 Reflection FTP Client

Update 5

Fixed an issue with using a shortcut to open the Reflection FTP client in certain locked down Microsoft Windows 10 environments.

Update 4

  • Developed a new option for users to select the appropriate certificate during TLS connections. When Prompt for certificate is selected, during the connection, the Select Certificate dialog will present the user with options to select from based on information from the Server’s Certificate Request message.

  • Changed the default TLS version from 1.0 to 1.2.

Update 1, 2, and 3

  • Fixed the FTP comand line -q option to display the correct output data when certain commands are executed while the switch is invoked. This fix restores the original behavior for the -q option.

  • Added the ability to switch the host file display between Guardian API and USS modes when connected to a Non-Stop FTP Server. This enhancement enables users to switch between the two modes without disconnecting.
