Introduction

Reflection for Secure IT Client for Windows 8.3 Service Pack 1 Update 1 is available now for new and existing customers. These release notes provide information about how to obtain this release and a list of features and fixes included in this version of Reflection for Secure IT Client for Windows. They also include fixes in Reflection FTP, which is included with Reflection for Secure IT Client for Windows.

Resolved Issues

Reflection for Secure IT Client for Windows Enhancements

  • Fixed handling of sensitive information when Logging Level is set to Debug.

  • Resolved issues with the paste feature handling punctuation characters.


Security

  • Added an "Issued By" column to the TLS Select Certificate dialog box to handle multiple client authentication certificates.

  • Updated to OpenSSL 3.0.13. FIPS 140-2 validated cryptographic module OpenSSL FIPS 3.0.9 has also been included.

  • Fixed the signature format when using NCrypt with an RSA key.

    When the signature format uses NCrypt with an RSA key, the signature format is valid, and the ssh client authentication using public key authentication is successful.

  • Resolved failures when initializing an Active Mode FTP connection.

    A wait has been implemented for the FD_ACCEPT and the LIST command response before starting the TLS handshake.
