Complete the following prerequisites before you install the external Elasticsearch nodes:
If you have installed the external Elasticsearch nodes with Sentinel 8.5.0 or earlier versions, uninstall Elasticsearch, and then install Elasticsearch 7.10.2-OSS. For more information about installing, see Installing Elasticsearch.
Based on your EPS rate, deploy Elasticsearch in a cluster mode with the number of nodes and the number of replicas as recommended in Sentinel System Requirements.
The version of Elasticsearch supported for the Sentinel 8.5.1.0 version is 7.10.2-OSS. To install the supported version, see Installing Elasticsearch.
