On Red Hat Linux on s/390, an unsolicited dynamic attachment to generated code (.gnt) running in another process might crash on Redhat Linux 5. On initial investigation there seems to be an incompatibility between Redhat Linux 4 and Redhat Linux 5 with reference to the libunwind-ptrace.a file. To avoid this problem, use intermediate code (.int), shared-object (.so) or an executable.
