This book gives an overview of the License Management Facility. It describes how to manage the licenses for the development tools, and also what to do to set up and maintain the License Management Facility software. There is a separate licensing system for running applications; this is described in your Deployment License Management Guide
This book is for a UNIX administrator. You are responsible for managing licenses and for setting up and maintaining the License Management Facility software. You need to be familiar with your operating system, but do not need programming skills.
