To configure the Silk Meter Manager connection:
Access the Policy Administrator.
Click Configuration/Connection Settings or use the corresponding button on the toolbar.
On the Connection Settings dialog, modify the settings as appropriate.
Click OK to save your settings.
Options in the Silk Meter Connection Settings dialog:
License Server: Indicates that Silk Meter is set up to access a local or remote license server.
Host: Displays the host name of the Silk Meter license server (use of localhost is supported).
Port: Displays the port number on which the Silk Meter license server runs (default is 5461).
Standalone: Run Silk Meter in standalone mode. Standalone mode allows a client to read and approve a policy by itself, without requiring connection to a license server.
OK: Click to save your changes and close the Configure Manager Connection window.
Cancel: Click to close the Configure Manager Connection window without saving your changes.
