Logging on to
StarTeam
in
Microsoft Visual Studio
and Starting a Project
Before you can create a new project or open an existing project, you must select a server configuration for the project and log on.
Open
Microsoft Visual Studio
and choose
StarTeam
>
Pull Solution
.
The
Pull Solution from
StarTeam
dialog box opens.
Choose a
StarTeam Server
from the list and click
Log On As
.
The
Log On to [server_name]
dialog box opens.
Type the
User Name
and
Password
in the appropriate fields.
Note:
Passwords are case sensitive and may have length restrictions.
Choose the
Project Name
and
View Path
(if different than the default).
Browse to a different working folder if you want a different location from the one displayed.
Select the solution file to use.
Click
OK
.
