Identity Objects

The Identity Objects page lets you manage the associations between Storage Manager policies and eDirectory objects such as organizational units, groups and users.

Management tasks include:

• Creating organizational units.

• Setting context.

• Viewing properties.

• Performing Management Actions.

• Assigning policies.

Browse and select organizational units in the directory in the left-hand pane. Right-click an organizational unit to take additional actions, such as:

• Creating an organizational unit (OU).

• Setting the directory context to display the hierarchy from the root or the selected organizational unit.

The objects within a selected organizational unit are displayed in the right-hand pane, where you can take additional actions such as:

• Viewing properties.

• Performing Management Actions.

• Assigning policies.

• Filtering for containers, groups, and users.
