COBES0215 MEMBER name is too long, max 8 characters.

The value specified for the MEMBER HCOSS compiler directive option exceeds the maximum length of eight.

Resolution:

If you have not specified the MEMBER compiler directive option, then HCOSS uses the program name by default. In this case, reduce the length of your program name to eight characters or fewer, and recompile the program.

If you have specified the MEMBER compiler directive option, then recompile the program specifying a member name that conforms to the syntax for mainframe Partitioned Data Set names, including eight characters or fewer.
