To create a COBOL project

To create a COBOL project:

  1. While in the COBOL perspective, click File > New > COBOL Project.

    Or, in other perspectives, click File > New > Other. In the New dialog box, expand Micro Focus COBOL, select COBOL Project, and then click Next.

  2. In the New COBOL Project dialog box, type a project name.
  3. Select a project template, if required. Alternatively, check Browse for template and type the location or click Browse to navigate to the location of the template.
  4. In the Location field, type the path of the project or click Browse and use the Browse For Folder dialog box to browse the file system.
  5. Click Finish.

    The project is created and appears in the COBOL Explorer.
