Classic Data File Tools IDE
The Classic Data File Tools IDE runs on 32-bit Windows only. However, the DFCONV utility and the IMS Database loader, which both use record and segment layout files, can run on Windows, UNIX, and Linux 32-bit or 64-bit.
IMS Support
The IMS Database Editor and the creation of segment layouts using the Layout Editor require IMS support that is only available in the Enterprise Developer products. These features are not available in the Visual COBOL products.
National Data Items
National data items are not supported in record or segment layouts.
