To run a CSI query:
- Position the cursor anywhere within the program that you want to query.
- Click the
COBOL Source Information button (
) on the toolbar. Alternatively, press
Ctrl+Alt+Q or right-click in the COBOL editor and click
Quick Browse.
The
Quick Browse dialog box is displayed.
- Specify the CSI query that you want to run, then click
OK.
The results from the query are shown in the
Search view.
Note: Background parsing needs to be enabled in order to run a CSI query. Background parsing is enabled by default, but if you have disabled it you need to re-enable it before you can run CSI queries.
