To examine the CTF trace file

Restriction: This topic applies only when a Database Connectors license has been installed via the Micro Focus License Management System, and applies to Windows platforms only.

Set the FILE_TRACE ACUFH configuration variable to a number from 1 to 9.
Run your program again.
Proceed until you encounter the error condition, and then exit.
Your CTF trace file contains the error information described in the section Retrieving Messages Using the FILE_TRACE ACUFH Configuration Variable in the chapter Performance and Troubleshooting, and also contains the SQL queries that the Database Connectors™ interface constructed. Examining these queries can help to determine the cause of the syntax error. Please contact Micro Focus Customer Care if you need help.
