You upgrade existing distributed applications created with
Server Express to
Visual COBOL for Eclipse.
The
Visual COBOL suite includes the following two independent products that are designed to be used together for maximizing the developers'
productivity:
- Visual COBOL Development Hub is the counterpart of Server Express and must be installed on the machine that has your application sources.
- Visual COBOL for Eclipse provides a rich and highly effective integrated development environment that can be connected to
Visual COBOL Development Hub to enable you to edit, build and debug the applications' sources directly on the remote machine.
