To stop the Audit Manager (deprecated)

Note: Audit Manager is deprecated and provided for backward compatibility only. We recommend that you use syslog events instead. See Enterprise Server Auditing for more information.
Restriction: This topic applies only when the Enterprise Server feature is enabled.

Syntax:

This command stops the Audit Manager.

mfauditmgr -x [-n name]

Parameters:

-x Stop the audit event consolidator instance
name Specifies the name of the audit event consolidator instance. This is the name that applications will use to communicate with this audit event consolidator instance.

If this option is not specified, the machine name will be used.

Comments:

You will only be allowed to stop an audit event consolidator instance if you are the owner (that is, the user that started it), or are a Windows Administrator. In Windows environments, you can use this command to stop the instance even if the instance has been started as a service.
