Applications developed using Visual COBOL require a COBOL run-time server, COBOL Server, to provide the necessary run-time system and support.
Micro Focus recommends that you install the full COBOL Server with your applications.
To install COBOL Server, run the install file setup_cobol_server_5.0_platform.
