Create the ProgramREST Solution and Project

Create a project for your service interface application.

1. In Visual Studio, click File > New > Project.
2. In the Create a new project dialog box, select COBOL from the Language drop-down list.
3. Select Enterprise Server Application.
4. Click Next.
5. Complete the Name and Location fields as follows:

   Name	ProgramREST By default, this is the name of both the project and the solution.
   Location	c:\tutorials Note: You can optionally specify any directory of your choice; however, this tutorial refers to the project location as c:\tutorials. If your project location is different, adjust the instructions as necessary.

6. Check Place solution and project in the same directory.
7. Click Create.

   Visual Studio opens the Solution Explorer for the ProgramREST solution, showing the ProgramREST project.
