Australia & New Zealand Realize 2020 event raises $54,000 for charity

Following their recent virtual Realize 2020 event, the Micro Focus team in Australia and New Zealand raised $54,000 through partner sponsorships and fundraising, which was donated to their INSPIRE charity partner Free3D Hands, a non-profit organization that produces and distributes 3D printed “hands” and assistive devices to people in need around the world – for free.

To play a part in supporting the Micro Focus INSPIRE program in South Africa, the team’s local distributor, Axiz, recently donated and delivered a state-of-the-art wireless printer and scanner to the site’s charity partner – The Frida Hartley Shelter for abused women and children (FHS). The donation will support delivery of a programme designed by Micro Focus colleagues to help women at the shelter upskill and find employment.

Since the launch of our global campaign earlier this year – Inspire a Million Lives – the Micro Focus North America team has supported its charity partner, Feeding America, through a series of volunteering events – helping to provide over 1.4 million meals to people in need.
